Tools and Protocols
The Innovative Leaders Network houses three types of information that may be submitted by members for general use: Case Studies, Promising Practices, and Tools and Protocols.

Tools and Protocols are instruments useful in the hard work of improving schools. Broadly speaking, Tools are instruments and forms designed for specific purposes to provide consistency and efficiency to our work. Protocols, agreed upon guidelines for doing things, create structures that allow people to move more quickly into the meaningful work of school improvement and to focus their energy on action related to student success rather than on how to approach the work.

The Tools and Protocols included here are available in a printable format and include appropriate supporting material such as relevant research, supporting rationale, suggestions for use, caveats, and directions.
